Bielsko-Biała is an important communication junction on the jazz map of the world. Over the past 30 years, this city has hosted almost all of the world's leading jazz musicians (nearly 2,000 musicians from all continents). In addition to presenting jazz stars, from the very beginning, Zadymka has been trying to initiate cooperation between young musicians and support their development. For 20 years, it has been organizing a competition, the prize of which is the publication and promotion of a debut album. Now, referring to the tradition of the city, which was historically a place of coexistence of three cultures: Polish, German and Jewish, we want to transfer this tradition to the universal language of jazz . 

The project refers to the tradition of the city, whose identity was historically shaped at the meeting point of three cultures: Polish, German and Jewish. As part of Zadymka Jazzowa, we invite young musicians from these three countries to prepare the Final concert together. We suggest Radio Katowice to become the patron of this project .
