CHRIS BOTTI is one of the most appreciated contemporary instrumentalists, who is equally at ease with JAZZU and popular music. His work goes far beyond one genre. He sells his records in millions of copies, and his name can also be seen on many albums recorded with other artists or on film music tracks .

We often associate this extremely popular trumpeter with Italy, although he was born in Portland, Oregon, USA, and raised in Corvallis, he spent two years of his childhood in Italy. He has had contact with music since he was a child, thanks to his mother, a piano teacher. However, as he himself says, it all started when he heard Miles Davis playing "My Funny Valentine" at the age of 12. He was already playing the trumpet for three years, but this moment made him decide to connect his life with music. He was famous for his recording of the 2001 album Night Sessions for Columbia,
Botti then gained a reputation as a versatile musician in both jazz and pop music thanks to his ability to combine styles. He also reaches for classical and rock music. The musician follows the early recordings of Miles Davis and
draws inspiration from the music of Tomasz Stańko. Chris Botti received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album for the album Impressions. He was also nominated in 2008 for the album Italia, and in 2010 received three nominations for the live album Chris Botti In Boston. Four of his albums took first place on the Billboard jazz albums chart.
Over the past thirty years, Chris Botti has collaborated with some of the biggest stars around the world. This elite includes: Sting, Lady Gaga, Michael Bublé, Paul Simon, Steven Tyler and Frank Sinatra ..
